    Overview

Densha de Go! Professional-shiyou (loosely translated to "Go by Train! Professional Specification") is an electric train driving simulation game developed and published by Taito for the Sony PlayStation in Japan on December 9, 1999. It was later ported to the PC by Unbalance on June 15, 2001.

Based on the PS1 port of Densha de Go! 2, Professional-shiyou includes all routes from both Densha de Go! and Densha de Go! 2 Kousuku-hen: 3000-bandai (along with the two exclusive routes from the second game's PS1 port), along with new courses and new train options.

The game also features additional difficulty options, allowing players to control how much penalty time to start with, and includes an optional "Navigation System" display that shows upcoming changes to the route (similar to a GPS display). The latter system would become standard with home-only releases of the series.

The game is compatible with the PocketStation, adding a simplistic version of the game experience (as "Dengo").
