Elise is the princess of a castle in the First Town. She is filthy rich, and always accustomed to getting whatever she wants just by asking for it. When she is turned down by a hot-looking prince whom she has an eye on, she goes on a long series of quests in order to become impressive and strong enough to win him over.
Elise can use a variety of weapons, from swords to axes to bows and magic staves. She can also learn magic spells with the aid of a parrot named Paro, but she must be attacked by the spell first in order to use it. Her most useful skill by far is the ability to "Pout", which she can use to produce a variety of effects (including increasing experience and monetary gains after winning battles, altering the enemy's levels, or bypassing quests completely).
