What pre-pandemic GB show do you miss the most?

I don't know if a podcast counts, and it's just a coincidence of timing and not pandemic related, but All Systems Goku!

I'm probably remembering this wrong, but it was only a month or two after the final batch of Dragonball Super episodes had their US release when we learned Dan was leaving the site. I was so looking forward to the possibility that Jeff and Dan might pick up that podcast again, but that announcement make it clear that what we got is all that will be.

It was such a joy hearing their glee at experiencing anime for the first time, and I would have loved to have heard their thoughts on plenty of moments in DBS.

I've been wanting a season 2 of project B.E.A.S.T. Let's get a Kerbin to mars and back. I bet Austin would guest spot on one or two of them.

Something to be said for having all the Bombers in the same room while doing the podcasts.

It's a tie between Demo Derby & Game Tapes

Game Tapes, Demo Derby, and VRodeo.

I understand why Demo Derby or even Vrodeo are complicated to do now, but I don't get why they're not still doing Game Tapes. The tech they need to do Game Tapes is exactly the same they use to do the Talk Overs like they did recently with the Nintendo Direct. I know Game Tapes used mostly tapes from the GameSpot archives, but for now they could easily do press conferences available online on YouTube. With the new consoles released, I would love if they now did Game Tapes for the reveal/release of last gen, comparing what was promised back then and what we got now at the end of the generation, etc.

100%, this is probably what I miss most. I think the Beastcast works well now because there's only 3 people so there's not a huge chance of crosstalk etc. But I feel like the Bombcast suffers with 4/5 people on it regularly, little jokes/moments get missed quite often and the quieter personalities can't find opportunities to speak unless directly asked questions.

Can't wait for things to get back to normal!

@bigsocrates: Whoever if anyone does take bens spot on the show. They should should be presented with Bens coat. With Bens name on it. Jeff and Jason never address the mistake. The coat bit was so fun.

Not really pre-pandemic, but what happened to the Assassin's Creed Syndicate playthrough? I'm still crossing my fingers for a proper speedrum of the entire hitman trilogy between Brad and Vinny.

Psst, I think big Socrates was joking with his statement being more about joking about 'how science works'. Regardless, we all hope we have some more ranking of fighters.

I miss the strange one off series content they did with Dan like burgle my bananas and steal my sunshine and other type shows with new and old games alike. I love playdates as well.
