    Overview

Lock On, or Super Air Diver, is an air combat simulator that allows the player to fly various kinds of military jet. The Japanese and American Air Forces work together to bring down a vicious warlord, flying into combat zomes and dogfighting with the enemy planes there.

Lock On is a follow-up to Copya System's earlier Genesis game Air Diver. Air Diver was a Genesis exclusive, and Lock On is a SNES exclusive. Lock On was also followed by a SNES sequel, Super Air Diver 2. Lock On was published in the US by Vic Tokai, in Japan by Asmik Ace Entertainment and in Europe by SunSoft.
