The most interesting thing for me is, in spite of the deluge of Warhammer games over the last decade, there's only one, maybe two, Space Hulk games that aren't abandonware. The original Space Hulk isn't sold anywhere, this follow-up is forgotten, and the 2013 reboot and its sequel are both abandonware. Of the two newest games, Tactics and Deathwing, the first apparently hasn't been updated to work with recent CPUs. That leaves only one game, which is a co-op FPS, as something that can be bought and played in the year 2024. I'm amazed at how cursed this brand is.

The 3DO is a magical platform.

In terms of branded video games, Zuul is probably in a mid to bottom tier. Someone should do a thing where they rank branded video games from throughout the years, I need to know where that Yaris game fits in the scheme of things.

Happy to be back. The problem with King's Field III is that there isn't really anything interesting to say about it. It's the most playable of the King's Fields while still being pretty bad. It's like how there's a lot more to be said about 2 or 3/10 games than a 5/10 game. Outside a handful of "wtf" moments, there's nothing to latch onto. I at least have my playthrough archived, so I should be able to go back to the write-up at some point.

They really are scrapping the bottom of the barrel when rereleasing old shooters. Can't wait for the Iron Angel of the Apocalypse remaster.

It's really hard to like the MK series if you don't have people you know to play it with. It's gotten better over time since the modern games have enough singleplayer stuff to be worth playing. Though if your problem is more fundamental with the fighting system or content, then that's a different matter.

My concern is that Hamilton is falling for the same trap that Vettel and Alonso fell for of thinking, "but what if I won in a Ferrari?" and that it would go about as well. I doubt Mick is ever getting back into an F1 car, but I can see there being a straight swap of Hamilton for Sainz. Carlos is the most reliable journeyman in the sport, and he had his Best Of The Rest year with a Mercedes powertrain. Merc has a year of leeway to figure it out, so maybe they'll find a way to poach Lando.

I usually like Steamworld games, so I thought this would be a good time, and it mostly was. It has the basic town management loop going on, and the mine stuff could have been a good addition. It's just in practice where juggling the town and the mine doesn't really work past the first three or so hours. I didn't finish the game, I got to the part where you need to fuel up the rocket while the monster spawners are constantly popping off and before I quit out of disgruntled apathy.

The production pipelines it wants you to use don't hold together well and the map isn't good for town layout, especially as you need to expand in the late game. I'm not an expert at this genre, but it felt off. Probably a 7/10 kind of game if I'm being generous.
