    Overview

    Resident Evil Portable is a cancelled title in Capcom's premiere zombie series announced for the PlayStation Portable. The game was supposed to be an all new original chapter in the storied franchise and not a remake of a previous installment, as it was first rumored.

    Development

    Capcom was said to be working very closely with Sony on Resident Evil Portable, as it is something both companies had wanted to make for awhile. Chris Kramer, Capcom's Senior Director of Communications, had said that the game would be unlike any other previous Resident Evil title.

    Rumors suggest that this project eventually became Resident Evil Revelations
