I think the reason that your cola did not ferment is because the real sugar in the coke is a disaccharide.  
The high fructose corn syrup in most drinks is a monosaccharide and does not need to be broken down for the yeast to process it.  
 
Great thought though, i would've loved for it to work.

The comic vine segments are probably never going to be for me, but their in studio segment was excruciatingly awkward. 

Didn't really get the joke with Sara being a bitch and throwing water on Tony.

Wow, Jeff and Dave reminded me of Conan and Andy. Jeff is just a fabulous host. Dave, the sunglasses bit was golden; I like that he was subtly laughing to himself about himself! Rorie puppy joke must not die! Also, I wish there was a behing the scenes camera for vinny and drew, you know they are laughing it up behind those cameras!

I want Dave to have a talk show about building websites or anything really. Very chill duder, and the chemistry with Jeff was enjoyable.

But damn Jeff is a natural at engaging the audience when he speaks.

What Dave was referring to with the achievement system is commonly known as "screen scraping", and it kinda sucks because you have to parse an entire HTML file, which may not be well-formed and can be slow because it's not neatly arranged like an XML file.
 
Blizzard recently launched a new version of the World of Warcraft website, and if they reboot the Armory as well, someone at Whiskey will have another coding problem on their hands.

Hmm comicvine are coming up with good ideas for segments, but not executing well.
Sara's one last week was pretty funny but I would have like to see it work a little better.
Tony seems like he is the perfect person for his website, but he is not good in front of a camera. I think for what they are trying to do Comicvine would be better preparing pre done bits until they find their feet a little.
