    I just read about this. I like some of Miike's films so this is exciting.


    Speaking to The Huffington Post, Takashi Miike said of his next film,

    It is a very light comedy that I am filming now, a court drama, based on a video game, the Nintendo game DS.

    Never seen any of the director's movies so I don't have a say in this. I've always wanted a good Phoenix Wright anime, though. No matter how the movie will/would turn out, an actor rocking Phoenix's hair would look fucking ridiculous.

    I really liked 13 Assassins. One of my favorite Miike films, and he's made a lot. Looking forward to seeing the extended cut.

    I've never played one of these Ace Attorney games, but if Miike's at the helm of a film color me interested. Thanks for the news.

    Couldn't disagree more, I couldn't care less if they made a Phoenix Wright anime, in fact I'm semi surprised there isn't one already. A live action one would be hilarious whichever way you slice it, even if unintentional.
