Action Man: Robot Atak contains 17 levels which have players taking on the role of multiple characters such as Action Man, Redwolf, and Flint.

Many of the stages are 2D, side-scrolling action platforming stages that have players moving from the left of the stage to the right. Throughout these stages there are many obstacles to avoid or defeat such as enemies, spikes, and pits.

Mixed in between the action platforming levels are other action based stages such as motorcycle and surfing stages.
