Activision has a lot of dickheads and assholes on the management level, but, but there are developers under their umbrella that still make great games.  If those developers start making shitty games, then I won't buy them anymore, I really don't care about the publisher.  I also think they're going for a "bad boy" image right now, which isn't so dangerous when you're sitting on gold like MW2 and Blizzard.

It's a sin because we all know that Rock Band is the better game. Every Guitar Hero game since 3(some might even say 2) has been getting worse and worse. I think they know that Rock Band has the better quality game, too.

They weren't trying to tell retailers to only sell their product.. They were simply advising retailers to only sell the most profitable product, because when people buy a game like rock band or guitar hero, they only go with one or the other and in most cases its guitar hero apparently.

I don't give a fuck what anyone at Activision PR says, if I wanna Play MW2 or GH5 I'm gonna play them, a lot of people worked hard to make those games what they are, not just this guy. I seem to be saying this a lot on here recently but you guys have to stop personalising game companies, they are not here to look after you like a babysitter, they exist to take your money, that's what they do. Saying "Fuck Activision!" or "Fuck EA!" or "Fuck Ubisoft!" every day is like saying "Fuck Ford!" or "Fuck Coca-cola!".

It's funny how Activision has become the "bad guy" of the moment, just like Valve when they announced L4D2 and EA before them. It's amusing to see how hate changes from company to company, it's a fun little game to guess which one will be next.

'Cause you know, competition is totally bad for the market.  It's not like a smaller company is going to have incentive to innovate over a larger company to compensate for the lack of $'s they can come up with to produce and market their product.  Nope.  It's not like Guitar Hero was once a tiny game that nobody had any expectations for and following this gentleman's statements shouldn't have been placed on the shelves of retailers because it wasn't one of the top selling brands.  Nuh-uh, nothing wrong with what he's saying at all.
