It's amazing how in such a short life someone can touch so many people with his art and imagination. He will be missed.

Bethesda Concept Artist Adam Adamowicz Passes Away
I knew Adam for several years. He was making amazing work long before he was at Bethesda. You just don't meet many people like him. If he wasn't an artist he surely would have been a standup comedian-- he had a larger than life personality-- mad funny and highly intelligent. We had wild times, good and bad, but what I remember most is he always had a little black book in his bag and we would constantly have to stop and wait for him to draw whatever caught his fancy: an interesting person, an decrepit wall or structure, etc... He had a creative intelligence and vigor that I inspires my my practice as an artist. His process was always about learning something, about experiencing something new in your subject matter and pushing it further, beyond the usual and derivative. His memory and work will live on, miss you buddy.
Oh my god! I started listening to The Bethesda Podcast (bethblog.com/podcast), and the Skyrim team diary 01 is an extended interview with concept artist ADAM ADAMOWICZ. It's a really weird listen. Especially when he says ”James Gourney, our favourite artist, his line is 'I prefer my art heroes dead.' and his logic is- you pick somethin 200 years old, chances are it's got some merit to it.” Also this is a great podcast, by the way.
