Wait, this "game" is actually out in Japan now? I don't see what the big deal is...looks boring, but I guess all those Pokemon Snap fans would eat this up in a heartbeat. I can't remember the name, but this is reminding me of that old arcade game where you would drive around a desert and rope animals...I liked that game :P

I loved the one commercial on Gametrailers with the people falling asleep while they were playing the game... Yeah, way to sell your game! :|

Yeah those Japanese they are a day ahead of us in time, but lightyears ahead in games lol...

I think we all know most of the hype for this came from graphics not from gameplay

And yet somehow I manage to survive without owning any of those titles. Nor do I really consider those games to have "quality gameplay" either (although CoD4 did have pretty alright multiplayer). Gaming wouldn't be dead, just different and in the end actually better off in my opinion. I would atleast have more things to play and be psyched about."

People would be forced to explore new ideas, to think in new ways about what a game is and how it can be played. Kinda like the creativity of the 80's but with the technology to actually realize the things that people come up with. After the five year span you can bring shooting back and then gaming would be better off. Cause these days most games are essentially the same...

And then of course there are things like Africa... It's good that they are trying different stuff but I really would have preferred a life sim... Ohwell...

This is whats wrong with the average gaming audience. All they want to do is kill, kill, kill and not give an original game a try. This is why the games industry today is so boring and unimaginative. They're catering to the lowest common denominator!

Africa has been here for a very long time.

Damn that's what it turned out to be? I had no idea, I actually thought you would hunt for animals and there'd be some people against you and whatever, but I guess they wanted to be a little different this time. But this will attract alot of people who are interested in stuff like this.
