My name is Dido, Fido Dido
When looking at a screenshot or video of And Yet It moves it is apparent that this is a indie game. Visuals look like these are just thrown together without lot's of time or effort. Broken Rules, the developers behind the game simply didn't have a graphics artist when making this game. This doesn't change the fact that this is still a very good game. At least on Wii.
The two standard game modes are journey(campaign) and time trial. The Wii version has also three additional game modes and three extra maps. These three modes still revolve around the journey modes levels. Such as limited rotations or a mode with limited lives. There is also a number of in-games achievements that are the same as in the Steam version. Regarding that Steam version. I tried playing this on the PC also, but feel that the controls just doesn't work as well. The rotation is limited to 90 degree angles make the game way harder and less fun. Interesting thing here is that while the rotating idea sounds ideal for Wii game was actually designed for PC/Mac/Linux first. Wii owners know well that the remote is too often just a attached gimmick. For once it actually works perfectly.
The lack of graphical artist is clear when looking at the aesthetics. Game is presented in paper collage style. Games three worlds are still distinguishably different. Starting with underground caves and journeying to a forest/jungle. The last world is all trippy thanks to certain incident on the jungle level. Other animals such as gorilla, bats and some kind of rat monster need to be tackled as well. These and other items such as rocks and fire-stones are used with the rotation to mechanism to solve a puzzle before player can continue his trek.
There has been multiple offers on the game recently, but these have been for the personal computer version. The controls make Wii version way superior. 1000 Nintendo Points is what you currently need to pay for this indie gem. And it is no doubt worth of every one of those points.
