    International Mega-Star David Hasslehoff is best know for his role as Mitch Buchannon in the television series Baywatch which lasted over ten seasons and was broadcast on every single continent on the planet Earth except Antarctica.

    Baywatch became Baywatch Hawaii in 1999 when the location was moved from Los Angeles County to Hawaii.
     In the Baywatch spin-off "Baywatch Nights" David Hasselhoff continued his role as Mitch Buchannon as a lifeguard/detective at night.
    David Hasselhoff's best known role may be Mitch Buchannon but that was not his first hit role. In 1982 Hasselhoff stared as a crime fighter aided by a nearly indestructable talking car, the Knight Industry's Two Thousand (also known as K.I.T.T.) in the TV series Knight Rider.
