    Overview

    This is a Boss fought on the rooftops of Koontz Street in the first Silent Hill game. The Floatstinger is the adult form of the Twinfeeler, and reveals itself as a giant moth. As the name suggests, it attacks with a large stinger -- which lies on its thorax -- and also by spewing some sort of poisonous gas.

    Just like the Twinfeeler before it, the Floatstinger is also a manifestation of one of the insect specimens in Alessa's room.

    The name seems to come from Muhammad Ali's famous phrase "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee"
