    The Foot Clan are a group of ninjas lead by the fearsome Oroku Saki, better known as The Shredder. While they have their origins in ancient Japan, the Foot are depicted as using New York City as their main base of operations. The Foot Clan most often have connections in local crime gangs, from funding and supplying small-time street gangs like the Purple Dragons to collaborating with larger mafia families.

    The Foot Clan were originally derived as a parody of the The Hand ninjas of Marvel Comics.
