    Overview

Gambler Jiko Chuushinha: Katayama Masayuki no Mahjong Dojo is a mahjong game from Yellow Horn and Game Arts. It features the characters of author Masayuki Katayama's Katayama Masayuki no Mahjong Kyoushitsu manga series, which throws together characters from his more popular Gambler Jiko Chuushinha and Super Zugan mahjong mangas into an alternative universe setting where Gambler Jiko Chuushinha's protagonist Dorio is a teacher and the Super Zugan gang are his students.

The game works like a standard mahjong game, though employs the slightly more unusual perspective of having everyone's mahjong tiles sit in a vertical set of rows. Usually, the four players are situated at each side of the screen in a square formation, as would be the case on a mahjong table.
