Overview
The Hand Cannon of Dead Space 2 is an intentionally overpowered weapon that is twenty percent more powerful and faster than other weapons found in the game and has unlimited ammunition. It is also a big, red, foam finger. According to the game, the primary fire is "Bang Bang" and the secondary weapon is "Pew Pew." The weapon does not make a firing sound when used, nor are its projectiles visible. Instead, Isaac will say "Bang" or "Pew" with each shot fired.
The Hand Cannon is unlocked after completing the game on the Hardcore difficulty. To those that have unlocked it, the weapon is also available for use in the game's "Severed" DLC, in which the player takes the role of Gabe Weller.
