    Overview

    Ikki Tousen: Shining Dragon is an original story set in the universe of Ikki Tousen, an anime and manga series loosely based on characters and events of the Chinese novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", the series is known in North America as "Battle Vixens."

    The game was released in Japan on July 26, 2007. It was licensed for release in North America by Valcon Games. However, the company chose to cancel it for various reasons, most notably it receiving a M rating from the ESRB. The game would require heavy censorship to bring the rating down, and Valcon did not think the customer base would accept it.

    Characters

    Along with series regulars Hakufu, Ryomou and Kanu, a new character named Chousen is introduced. Chousen is very loosely based on Diao Chan from the Chinese novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms."
