A boss in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Created by the Luminoth, Quadraxis once served as a gigantic robotic sentinel that protected their Sanctuary. The Ing then took control of it, installing it as the guardian of the Hive Temple.
Samus Aran is the protagonist of the Metroid series. As a bounty hunter, she uses her armored power suit to hunt space pirates and other dangerous forces. She frequently crosses paths with dangerous creatures called Metroids in her adventures.
