    Mortal Kombat still kicks! 2

Love it or hate it, Mortal Kombat has become a household name since its release in 1991. A fighting game that utilized digitized actors depicting acts of gratuitous violence certainly caused a stir amongst critics, and received fairly widespread backlash from politicians. This was a dark yet exciting time for game players, as they got to lavish in a fight to the death—courtesy of their local arcade. But it wasn't until the release of the sequel—aptly titled Mortal Kombat II—that the foundations ...

Mortal Kombat 2 is an absolute triumph in the realm of fighting games. As a fan of the original Mortal Kombat, I was eagerly awaiting the sequel, and I must say, it did not disappoint. From its intense battles to the captivating roster of fighters, Mortal Kombat 2 delivers a highly satisfying and immersive experience. One of the standout features of Mortal Kombat 2 is its refined gameplay mechanics. The controls are responsive and intuitive, allowing players to execute precise moves and combos wi...

    Finish Him! 0

Blood and gore is all you need in Mortal Kombat II. The gameplay in this game is pretty much identical from the first Mortal Kombat, with some fatality changes. Also with twice the characters introducing awesome characters too. You can pull of moves and specials to drain your opponents health, and then finish him off with a fatality full of blood. The graphics for this game is alright, but its the gameplay that really puts this game where its at. And the gameplay is very good, and also very addi...

Before the PS3 release, the PS1 release was the best version. 0

Mortal Kombat II is considered by most Mortal Kombat fans to be the best game in the series, it took everything that was great about the first game and just added onto it. But after its arcade release it was ported over to 13 consoles (that's including the PC) and even after being ported to all of those consoles we wouldn't see an arcade perfect port of Mortal Kombat II until 2007 when it was ported to the Playstation 3 which was ported as an above arcade perfect port. So before 2007 what did we...

How do you screw up a port of MK2 on the Playstation? 0

The original Mortal Kombat II on the arcades was a smash hit for the series. An improved roster, more fatalities, as well as other finishing moves, more secrets (which led to some ridiculous rumors among gamers), a badass final boss, female ninjas, a great soundtrack...gold was struck with this game. Unsurprisingly, MK2 ended up getting many ports to different consoles, including one on the PS1, which only came out in Japan.Say my name...In theory, this should have been a curve ball for any dece...
