    Office buildings are rarely shown in video games as truly pristine, having at least some sign of disorder (blood on walls, broken windows, etc.).  The tight quarters of an office building usually lead to intense gun battles, with players and enemies running between desks and file cabinets while shooting briefly.  The heavy use of them in recent video games has been criticized because of the tendency to re-use art assets repeatedly, as well as a generally uncreative design.
