    The name "Old Man Jenkins" was initially used interchangeably for various elderly fish. The Jenkins depicted in "The Sponge Who Could Fly" would later appear in Lights, Camera, Pants and Creature From the Krusty Krab.

    As of Season 5, Old Man Jenkins was given a new design that has been consistently used ever since.
