@theodoricfriede: I can't say I like most of what I see from Dan, but I absolutely respect his creativity and passion. I don't see either in GB anymore.

@sombre: I want to tell you this is a little mean spirited, but damn did it make me laugh out loud.

I never got into Andromeda despite loving some of the cast. As for Halo, it was bad. You've described the issues well.

Video Bomb on Android was not playing any premium content. It appears to be fully working again based on my limited testing.

Edit: Mobile quality does not work.

@spacemanspiff00: I enjoyed 3 the most so far, but that isn't saying much. I'm hopeful it improves.

As for SG-1, if you are anything like me I'm sorry to say your concerns are well founded. There are a few nuggets in there still, but the tone just never felt the same. Peak SG-1 is well in the rearview mirror for me by season 8.

I won't restate what others have beyond that I loved the series and think the show is engaging, not great.

I will say in watching this with my wife, they did a very poor job grounding people who have never read any of the books.

I don't see how a show that fans seem to think is "fine" whilst seemingly leaving the vast majority of viewers feeling lost about what is happening, has any legs.

@spacemanspiff00: if you haven't seen it, give Farscape a go when you're done. Easy to enjoy even before you grow attached to Claudia Black and Ben Browder.

Let's just say, I'm much more interested in the SG discussion than the next episode of Halo. The action was entertaining, but I thought the writing and acting was mediocre to bad.

I was pleasantly surprised by Infernax. I don't have a lot of fondness beyond general nostalgia for Castlevania, but I do love games of the era. I also didn't expect much given it was from Berserk. I remember playing their flash games a long time ago in a browser far, far away, and I expected to quickly move on.

It was more difficult than I expected, but I had zero shame dropping the difficulty once I realized how the checkpointing worked.

The satisfaction of overcoming the challenge only applies to truly special games when there are so many new experiences at my fingertips these days.

I was also a bit annoyed by the morality system being opaque, but it seemed like perhaps not every decision impacted it. I thought I had chosen poorly on a couple of occasions, but I still recieved the best "good" ending.

Despite some flaws that others might find to be features, it will be one of my favorite games this year I'm sure.
