@dizzyhippos: As its fans love to point out, there's a very generous free trial available! It's definitely a big and potentially time-consuming game, though I appreciate I can just focus on the main story without any of the grind often associated with the genre.
@cyklone: Yeah, Soken's work has been a highlight for sure. Excited to see where all Endwalker goes! I've made some good progress in it so far though still early.

I relate a lot to your Demon's Souls experience. Dark Souls had its amazing level design, but I'll always remember the Nexus, the Tower of Latria, and a bunch of other aspects of Demon's Souls that were like nothing I'd ever played before.
