These are the best games I played in 2020. Been quarantined most of the year so I managed to get a lot of gaming done.

This game brought back my favorite characters of all time and gave me the chance to walk the streets of Midgar all in Advent Children level of detail and animation quality. The new combat system was a lot of fun to master and the music alone makes this an easy choice as my game of the year.

Played on PC. Writers, musicians and artists did a great job. Programmers... uh, not so much with all the bugs the game launched with. The technical problems don't take away from the experience in my opinion.

This game takes the open world formula to the next level. The beautiful regions of Tsushima combined with a masterfully designed combat system and an interesting story, make this game a very strong contender for the best first party PS4 game.

This came out at the perfect time at the beginning of the quarantine. Very relaxing and addicting.

Low budget but has an amazing plot and characters to make it a great game still. A job well done Swery!

Playing this at launch was a great experience. Good mindless fun is needed from time to time.

This gave me the chance to play Mario 64 for the first time and revisit Sunshine and Galaxy.

Played the base game and finished the expansions this year. Amazing visuals on PC. Very immersive and atmospheric world.

The Beyond Light expansion has a great raid and stasis abilities are fun to play around with.

The story is great but it reused a lot of assets from Spiderman and it's rather on the short side.
