A great underappreciated game that went largely unnoticed 0
Dark Earth is one of those great under appreciated games that went largely unnoticed when it was released. It came out rather quietly in 1997 with next to no one really picking it up. Well, this reviewer did all those years back and it was a lot of fun and it still is to this day. Plot - Like all good post-apocalyptic setting's, Dark Earth takes place after a series of disaster's virtually destroy most of the world. A group of survivor's go on to set up a last city of hope (called Sparta), ...

A long time ago in a galaxy full of old-school frustration.... 0
When Super Star Wars was released in 1992, it was probably considered to be a very cutting edge game. It had amazing 2D graphics along with some impressive "3D" vehicle sequences....but it also had something that you don't see much of these days in games: extreme difficulty. The game loosely follows Episode IV: A New Hope. Now when I say "loosely" I mean it. It takes certain liberties with the story of the movie so it can make the game work like...well, a game!
