I have been a premium member with Giant Bomb basically since the beginning. However, what I miss is are endurance runs. No, I don't mean Brad / Patrick playing DOTA / Spelunky over and over again, nor do I mean waiting 2 weeks at a time for Vinny to beat Castlevania. I mean a straight up, DAILY, 20 or so minute video of two of the GB members going through a game. It's fun, episodic, and in the case of Deadly Premonition, the only way to enjoy games. How about a once a year vote where subscribers get to choose on which game gets to be played next? Out of the tens of thousands of weird games out there, I'm sure there is something that can stand shoulder to shoulder with Persona 4, Deadly Premonition, and Chrono Trigger.
I thought it was a nice change a pace and highlighted one of my favorite things with the ps4, which is to look at other people's shitty houses while they stare slackjawed at the insults being hurled at them. UPF brings many great moments and straight up boring moments. I didn't care for the game Vinny was showing nor am I ever interested in the racing games Drew constantly brings to the show, so I'm thankful they bucked the trend this week.
