With over $2,085 riding on our backs, this next day or so will be nuts.

I and a number of other students Connecticut College are participating in Extra-Life 2012 (as are apparently some GB folks ^_^). Extra-Life is an annual 24-hour commitment to playing games of all sorts to raise money for a Children's Miracle Network Hospital that raised over 1.2 million dollars last year. As an aspect of this, Conn College Gaming Club will running all sort of games on campus and encouraging other students to donate and/or participate.

In the case of the Gaming Club, our selected hospital is Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, the only medical center dedicated to entire to children's medical needs in the state and treats thousands of children each year, regardless of their family's ability to pay.

Starting 8 a.m. tomorrow with a breakfast and NERF battle, life is going to be frantic. Gonna try to host my first ever game of Arkham Horror. Even more excitingly, I'm going to be running a Sunday dawn game of croquet on the green.
