It's Like This Train... 0

Five years ago when we learned that Final Fantasy VII's remake would be broken up into separate installments it left fans, and newcomers, worried about how much content would be present in the first installment. Especially upon learning it only took place in Midgar, which wasn't even half of what the original game offered. However, what Square Enix gave us here is a fully fleshed out and wonderfully realized world that is an unforgettable experience. One of my biggest takeaways from Final Fantas...

Looking cool, Joker! 0

While Persona 5 Royal is technically a port of the original Persona 5 with enhancements, made only for the PlayStation 4, it's also so much more than that. Ori and the Will of the Wisps - Review 0

It's been about five years since Moon Studios released a stunning action-platformer that captured the heart, and tears, of many fans. However, in that time, the team honed their skills and released yet another gorgeous, heart-wrenching tale that had me smiling from ear-to-ear practically the entire time and left completely devastated in others. Ori and the Will of the Wisps take everything that worked in the first installment and enhances it in all the right ways and adds in a plethora of exciti...

Pokémon Sword Could Have Used 'Sharpen' 0

Pokémon Sword is a video game that has a ton of ambition but never sticks the landing. Everything from the Wild Area, to Dynamaxing/Gigantamaxing, and gyms just feel stiff and poorly implemented. The game's opening does a great job of setting up the word and its characters and does an even better job at setting up the drive behind your character's dream at becoming the Champion. However, the pacing of setting up the context, story, and overall characters, and their ambitions, is pretty ab...
