My Console Collection

A collection of all the consoles I own

List items

  • Another console I bought second hand after the hype had died down. Probably the "retro" console i turn on most as I love the games and the console so much.

  • Queued up outside Gamestation in the cold for this but it was certainly worth it. Ended up playing some multiplayer DS with the guys in the queue behind me while our fingers went numb in the December cold. One of the best nights ever.

  • The first console I attended a midnight launch for. My original DS is still going but I now also have a gold Zelda edition DS courtesy of my lovely girlfriend.

  • My red GBA was most used for Pokemon but I also loved the GBA/Gamecube connectivity stuff.

  • I spent a long time saving for my PS2 which was eventually just given to me as a Christmas present. As my brother kept our original model, it was one of the first purchases we made in the new house.

  • I got my Dreamcast second hand once it was well past it's prime which meant I could get my hand on lots of great games very cheap.

  • So many great games and great times with this console. Bought a PSOne recently for only £15 which is a hell of a bargain considering all the great games still available.

  • I enjoyed my Mega CD first time around when it was given to my by a friend of an uncle. There were some truly odd but great games. Unfortunately the one I purchased recently does not seem to work.

  • Bought second hand during college and played it on the bus quite a lot. It eats up batteries so fast it's hard to really play it much.

  • The Mega Drive (an infinitely better name than Genesis) was the first console I actually owned, which I got for my 10th birthday. Unfortunately I sold it when the trade-in craze kicked off although I did receive another Mega Drive for my birthday about 8 years later.

  • I own a classic grey and also a green DMG-001 gameboy which these days are used less for gaming and more for making sweet music.

  • I basically run my life through my lovely MacBook and have been known to use it for gaming too.

  • Never actually owned one back in the day but an eBay purchase and a fancy polar white paint job later and I have a beautiful music making machine. I hope to play some games on it one day too.
