Apologies if this has been asked somewhere before, but I just have a question about playing videos inside of an app
For example, lets say I've authenticated the user via the "apple-tv" flow, and have retrieved their key. Now, I want to play https://giantbomb-pdl.akamaized.net/2015/07/02/vf_mgs4_loading_070215_djwmfo_3200.mp4 . From reading the documentation, I think I have to append ?api_key=<user_key> (which works from the manual testing I've done), but from reading this forum entry, it would imply that any single user would only be able to play 20 videos in any single day. Is this correct?
Or does the "apple-tv" registration process somehow negate the video limit mentioned in the forum post? It might be not noticeable unless someone was indecisive and watched the start of a lot of videos (or used various different combinations of app + script etc, as the apple-tv endpoint registration flow seems like it returns the same key for every app ), but hoping to know either way
XanthanGun on both PS4 and Epic Account. I'm not very good but it might be nice to team up with non randoms (though I've not done a PvP match yet). EU if that makes a difference :)
Also I was wondering how effective the tutorials are in this game since it seems like a blast but utterly impenetrable?
Two other possibly helpful links:
Scott Manley and DasValdes. Scott Manley has a whole host of videos on his youtube channel, once playlist going through the career progression. He's got a very clear explanation style that really helped me when I was getting into it (pre career mode). I've not watched too much of DasValdes, but he always comes recommended for people who are looking to get into KSP
Sent a request to join, username is same as here :) Player in EU; have played Destiny since day 1, fell off after Dark Below due to RL commitments but excited to jump back on with TTK.
The group I used to play with left the game very early, so I've never been able to get a group together to do the Raids or any of the other end game content, so hopefully that will change :)
Currently have a Warlock at 34 (171). If anyone wants to add me, feel free; just pop a comment in the request so I know it's from here :)
Second the Scott Manley recommendation; he's got a whole beginners series on YouTube with a lot of really good info. Another to look out for is KerbalSpaceAcademy / DasValdez who runs regular beginner streams and guides on twitch and youtube.
On the burn timing thing, I found it way more intuitive to use manoeuvre nodes where you want to orbit / transfer etc as they show you the expected outcome, where to point and how much thrust/fuel it will take along side a timer. The tutorial briefly mentions it but for all burns you should aim to do half of it before the point, and half after, so a 20 second burn goes from T-10 seconds to T+10 seconds. Took me ages to realise that :D
Yea that's very true, from reading it seems like it only really begins to be a hindrance (if you could call it that) once you get super deep into the game
@marshermallow I've literally just started playing as well, and browsing reddit, it's almost universally recommended not to buy the Steam version. Apparently it makes patches and such a little more awkward, as well as some other multi account things (if you go that far down the rabbit hole)
What you can do is ask one of the nice folk here for a buddy invite, which gives you a 21 day free trial instead of 14, and if you do eventually subscribe, they receive a free PLEX which most will split the proceeds of, giving you a nice starting bank balance :)
