I don't know a single Kid Cudi song, unfortunately. I only know him from the Comedy Bang Bang IFC show after Reggie Watts left. Liked him on it.

Still doing my homework (listening to the album), and I really don't think the world asked for another Puddle of Mudd making the musical version of Martha Is Dead. I'm actually finding some measure of solace in the Vrbo ads between each song, that's the type of time I'm having.

EDIT: 100% agree with Emily that this is something that should probably have been kept in the vault. As a cathartic exercise in a really difficult time in his life, it could have been a step to a much better album. Also agree this album badly needed a drummer to flesh it out more. Good discussion!

EDIT 2: Absolutely give us the religious backgrounds of all original Pokemon. I am dying to know where Mew and Mewtwo end up.

Also if you’re gonna recommend a band like The Locust you should just go all out and get Wolf Eyes to do the instrumentation.

No idea what this album is but loved the show anwyay.

Loved the episode! Im a big cudi fan, MOTM2 and kids see ghosts are perfect, but I never had the courage to listen to this one.

The recent kanye-cudi beef wasnt the first one, they had one back in 2016 (including drake also), when I think cudi wasnt doing well mental health-wise. It was kinda sad but they squashed it pretty quick (and then made an album together).

The fantasy booking how to save the album segment is a great idea, and hope to see more of the pokemon's religion list in the future lmao.

This is a show that started off great and has now become greater than that. I really appreciate the deep dives into how these albums came to be and the fact that it's not just a dunk fest (though those are fun too).

Also, the fantasy booking of how to improve the album was a ton of fun and I for one like music recommendations. I'll probably ignore most of them because I'm turning into an old person that only likes music from a decade or more ago, but I still think it's neat.

I listened to this album for the first time in preparation and even knowing that Beavis and Butthead appeared on it, I was not prepared for how much they are on it. Their appearances felt like the worst possible version of the Aqua Teen characters being on DangerDoom, in that they weren't particularly funny and felt distracting, as opposed to adding to the mood of the record.

Edit: Peeping Tom is by Michael Powell, who also directed lush British melodramas like A Matter of Life and Death, The Red Shoes and Black Narcissus. Peeping Tom pretty much destroyed his career since it generated such outrage.

Another great episode! Also please do talk more about the types of music you guys do like and what you think could've been done to make these albums better, I really appreciate the insight that each person brings to the table when it comes to that.

Side-note, as a certified Sicko™ who actually liked (well, mostly liked) Korn's Path of Totality - would love to see an episode on that album given how reviled it is by most fans.

People came to Giant Bomb for the personalities. Some of the most loved content from the site has nothing to do with video games. Go off on tangents, talk about stuff that has nothing to do with the album you had to suffer through. I really enjoy the show no matter what you talk about.

Yeah, the reason why I personally like GB stuff is not to hear them talk about the video game in question, it is the random conversation about silly bullshit that goes along side of it which draws me in. Hail Satan, btw.
