Oh hell yes! Glad they showed off the extra options, really feels more fleshed out than What the Dub, which is super fun but as Jess said is pretty limited the fewer players you have.

Hearing the "no springs!" audio prompt stuck out to me like someone calling my name

Great stuff. Really cool to have the RiffTrax guys on to show their game! Good stuff from RuffTrax and as always good stuff from the Giant Bomb crew.

I wanted to add to what Jeff said at the end, Quick Looks of bad games/UPF had that MST3K/RT vibe of just riffing on stuff with your friends and it's really awesome to see it come full circle here.

This seems a lot more polished than What the Dub?! which I have on the switch, and the Rifftrax tie in is a little bit like them finally getting to do the thing they were shooting for the first time.

Man, MST3K and Rifftrax have informed so much (all?) of my taste in media since I was a kid. Having Bill and Kevin on the site is surreal and such a cool thing to see. Can’t wait to get this game and play with my friends and family!

Not gonna lie: as a lifelong MST3K/Rifftrax fan, it is INCREDIBLE to see Bill Corbett and Kevin Murphy on the explicitly inspired-by-MST Giant Bomb.

That said, I eagerly bought, then have not once found an occasion with enough people to play, What the Dub. So I'm wondering if this will be damned to the same fate.

If there were one QL I wish Ryan were still here for, it would probably be this one.

@wittynickname: We added a computer controller player (Riff Bot™) which can fill out 2-5 player games. It also allows for voting in a 2 player game which fills out the game a bit more. We added remote play too, so it should be easier to find and share room codes for a quick pick-up game.

@wittynickname: if it makes you feel any better I bought it ages ago and only just a couple days ago found enough family members to play it with on Easter..... we need more friends.

Man, I haven't thought of Jiminy Glick in like 15 years.

Personally, I think it's a shame that Use Your Words didn't even get a mention. That game pioneered using movie clips in a Jackbox-like and I much prefer using ridiculous foreign films where you add subtitles to having a text-to-speech program read the text out loud and pausing the clip if it gets too long. It brings me right out of it. I also really like Use Your Words's presentation; The music in the newspaper segment is great. The main problem with that game is its lack of flexibility, especially as the rounds are really long compared to most other games of the type.

Really enjoy What the Dub, but that game definitely evolved over time with suggestions over Steam/forums/etc. This one looks like it takes all of those suggestions with a lot more options as well as a cleaner/better presentation. Looking forward to playing this one as well!

Polite GB: oh yes, this is an excellent way to integrate the use of pre-written jokes. You've found an answer to the age old question of how to handle these situations. This new mode makes a lot of sense!
