Love to see fresh faces on GMM!

PS: New internal video player on the site? I hope this doesn't foreshadow youtube uploads getting axed.

1. If I never hear another story about the Microsoft-ABK attempted acquisition again, it’ll be too soon.

2. Based on the poll, I’m in the extreme minority, but man does a yet-more-action-y gameplay style for Dragon Age Dreadwolf fail to appeal to me. I hope this is a case of the devs being very passionate for this new style and knocking it out of the park, but I won’t get my hopes up.

@allthedinos: My wife and I will join you in the minority. It sounds like a terrible idea to me, and people claiming Inquisition was already there I feel like don't remember Inquisition. Obviously I hope it works out, but I'm not holding my breath that an RPG maker (especially of Bioware's modern, all-over-the-place pedigree) can pull off rewarding, action-based combat.

Me four. Definitely not the direction I want as a fan of the series. This doesn't feel like a decision made because they think it will actually make for a better game. It feels much more like a trend-chasing "Crap, we really need a hit! Uh, what's popular right now? God of War won a bunch of awards, right? Let's do that!"

And forgive me but, Bioware has enough trouble releasing games one might consider "in their wheelhouse" right now, I'm not sure hearing "we're branching out to something COMPLETELY different" raises my confidence since the most recent instance of that was Anthem.

As someone who liked all the Dragon Age games, including DA2's Mass Effect setup that many fans raged about, I don't see the big deal of them making this game like a character action game if its done well. DA hardcore fans seem real picky, but sadly, the overview click and point RPG isn't the big thing right now. And at the end of the day, its about making that cheddar. And besides, like how Solas seems to be the main villain to defeat, after the surprise twist in Inquisition.

@av_gamer: I don't care at all about a change in style from a preciousness about the mechanics of Dragon Age. I am worried about the team's competency with character action, and the myriad ways this project has grown, changed, and died, and regrown over the years don't fill me with confidence. Especially about a game that will be a wholesale mechanical departure from their previous games.

Weird issue, this didn't show up on the Latest Videos page for me and only got to see this one by going to the Podcasts section and then flicking it over to the Free Video option. No other comments saying that so guessing it's me.
