I played this game for the first time ever like 2 years ago and it's so far ahead of what everything else on the Playstation was doing at the time it feels like aliens made it.

@janman: unfortunately it doesn't even load the player overlay for me on Edge/Chrome. managed to change the settings manually on Safari though, phew =)

Also that's not quite the story for how Stephen King came up with Bachman, but eh, close enough. He's got 4 books under that name (seems to be retired now) and Running Man totally was one!

It's wild how well it holds up. The atmosphere is horrifying and the sound design is top-notch, especially the ambient wailing and warbling.

This series seems cool, but I don't really see what it has to do with Giant Bomb? Where are the energy drink reviews?

This series is going to be amazing, especially since Voidburger is the GOAT!

I firmly believe the tank controls make this game more intense, since you never feel quite in control and thus encounters with enemies are tense.

PS: @janman you are spot on for The Black Parade. I never got into that genre of music but that album is choice.

Is Shattered Memories the Metal Gear Rising of Silent Hill?

The lore building of Jan’s seemingly checkered past never ceases to amaze me. Especially contrasted with his on-stream personality.

Jan's exasperated sigh when he figured out he was dealing with tank controls made me bust up laughing.

When I found out Jess was a big Silent Hill fan I was really hoping for some Silent Hill content. I can't wait to watch more of this. Hopefully Jan can get to SH2, since its the best horror game ever made. Looking forward to more!

I enjoyed this so much that I extended my premium another year. Excited to see more new series like this.

The original Silent Hill is my favorite in the series, still. I love it's grungy look and the atmosphere created by the limitations of the PS1. The graphics really add to the horror. Amazing score, brilliant puzzles.

I'm excited for this feature, but I'm also planning on playing SH1 again soon, after many years, and I kinda wanna go in without it being fresh in my mind from watching this.
