    Sid Meier is a character based on the real-life Director of Creative Development at Firaxis Games.

    In XCOM: Enemy Unknown Sid Meier is a secret hero character with strong psionic abilities. This character is obtained by typing his name in the character customization, however, it will disable all achievements on that play through.

    Sid also appears in Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire as the leader of the "Firaxians" faction.
