    Sołtys is an adventure puzzle game much in the same sense as Gobliiins and King's Quest. The head of the village must find the missing husband of his daughter.

    In Poland, sołtys (derived from Schultheiß) is the name given to the elected head of a village or part of a large village. As the name suggests, you control the head of one such village in the quest to find the missing husband of his daughter This will lead you through several areas freely selectable after the first stage is completed.

    The game features pixelhunting as per tradition was very typical for early and mid 90s adventure games. The game became freeware in 2011 and is available in both the original Polish version along with an English translated one. Both are available from the ScummVM download page.
