Inspired by horror games such as P.T (Silent Hills) and the SCP-like "Backrooms", The Exit 8 is a game where you walk through the same passageway spotting differences (called "anomalies") in order to progress to the exit.
The game uses liminal space to loop you through the same passageway, where, upon discovering an anomaly, you must turn around to get closer to the exit. If no anomaly is present then passing through the corridor will continuing the loop, but get you closer to your goal.
No combat or interaction buttons are a part of the game. Instead, players must utilize observation.
