Does anyone know if there's going to be an ARMA 3 quick look? If so, do we have any idea of when? I'm considering buying it and I'm just curious to see how the staff responds to it because I share a lot of the same tastes and opinions as most of them. Thanks.

They'll probably wait til the game is technically out, but if they do one, they should play with us GBPCGH dudes in multiplayer and show everyone the real reason it's the number 1 seller on steam. (hint: it aint that single player)

Lost a long post. Check out VanOrd's impressions (gamespot). Arma 3 is an iteration of the series. Check reviews for the previous games to learn a lot about the games, and know that many fundamental issues with the series still persist in this third game. It is in alpha still, but don't expect it to magically become a new experience come beta/final version.

God I would love Love LOOOOOOVE to see a community TNT of Arma 3, especially the alpha.

As much as I'd be interested in a Quick Look (which they hinted at during ILM), I fee like a TNT would be more useful. I've never played ARMA but it definitely seems like the real strengths of the game come out once you get a group to run with. I dunno if anyone else here watches CHKilroy's stuff on Youtube (which you totallyshould btw), but that kind of stuff seems like what the game was made for, and I'm not sure if a Quick Look could really showcase that.

And I guess I'll have to concur with everyone else here. It would be excellent TNT material. Someone should find a way to throw that idea out to them. It's also pretty convenient that all the alpha invites are allowed to get sent out this Thursday. I hope they do at least something before the final release, because that's quite a distance off. I don't even think it has a set release date yet, just Q3 2013. Anyway, enough of my friends have shown interest in it, so I'm probably just going to get around to buying it this weekend. I hope if there is a TNT or something and that I'm actually able to secure a spot for once.
