The Gears of War 3 beta is due to launch next year and one of the ways you'll get "guaranteed early access" to it is by acting fast on a Bulletstorm purchase.
EA and Epic Games have announced the "Epic Edition" of People Can Fly's promising shooter for the Xbox 360, which in addition to offering "exclusive" morning bird access to the Gears 3 beta, will also give owners some bonuses to use in Bulletstorm's multiplayer mode. 25,000 EXP and "visual upgrades" for the leash, Peace Maker Carbine, boots, and armor, round out the rest of the offerings for the 60-dollar edition.
== TEASER == In the press release announcing this package, EA and Epic are encouraging folks to pre-order a copy of Epic Edition since it's a "while supplies last" kind of deal. It's not made clear if this Special Edition is pre-order exclusive, but it's probably not. A lot of EA limited-release, bonus-laden games seem to end up on store shelves after release.
Bulletstorm hits February 22 for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 in North America. In Europe, the game is expected to launch on February 25.
