Bulletstorm's "Epic Edition" Offers Gears Of Wars 3 Beta Access

The Gears of War 3 beta is due to launch next year and one of the ways you'll get "guaranteed early access" to it is by acting fast on a Bulletstorm purchase.  
 
EA and Epic Games have announced the "Epic Edition" of People Can Fly's promising shooter for the Xbox 360, which in addition to offering "exclusive" morning bird access to the Gears 3 beta, will also give owners some bonuses to use in Bulletstorm's multiplayer mode. 25,000 EXP and "visual upgrades" for the leash, Peace Maker Carbine, boots, and armor, round out the rest of the offerings for the 60-dollar edition.

hmmmm, let's see: 
If i preorder Bulletstorm "Epic Edition", I get  25 000 EXP, a "visual upgrades" thing, and others shit with the Gears of  War beta codes, all together, that about 60 dollars. And the game will be published by EA....How about no.

Too bad i don't care about gears of war multiplayer.

More interested in bulletstorm than gears, might get this for the cosmetic shit, especially now that I won't have Deus ex at the beginning of the year, it'll be this and brink.

Weird move, not necessarily dumb just unusual. Wonder how well of a promotional strategy it will turn out to be.

But really, game looks fun but not going to get it immediately. I'll just wait for it and Gears 3.

I fail to see why people are whining, this is one of those bonus stuff without over charging out the wazoo things. I'm still gonna wait and see how it reviews before I bite, but got some high hopes for People Can Fly.

As much I want to play Gears 3 multiplayer, I'm gonna pass. There will be other ways and I'm not buying a game that I'm not completely interested in to get into the beta.

Was already looking forward to this, but the Gears 3 beta is a nice bonus. Can't wait!

So does this mean bulletstorm is a Crackdown quality product?

I see 1st and 3rd party publishers can get along, whereas 3rd party cannot cooperate with another 3rd party.
