• NTM posted a message in the forum topic PC Version Announced - Coming November 5. on the Red Dead Redemption 2 board

I can't play it on PC since my PC couldn't run it, but I'm very interested to see what Digital Foundry finds.

  • NTM posted a message in the forum topic Switch version issues. on the Deadly Premonition board

I have it on Steam and I got it on the Switch. The Steam version after a while kept kicking me to my desktop after about 15 minutes of play so I stopped. The Switch version is also a technical underac...

  • NTM posted a message in the forum topic What is the Best Batman game. on the General Discussion board

Arkham Knight in my opinion. If you go back to Asylum, which was my favorite, it feels kind of bare-bones by comparison to what came after (and I am not referring to Riddler trophies). To me, in terms...

  • NTM posted a message on the post Hey, We Played The Last of Us Part II.

Looks awesome. It looks very similar, just with a few welcome additions that should make the encounters potentially even more interesting. It saddens me that you have to/can kill dogs, but I think it ...

  • NTM posted a message in the forum topic Will you buy the new Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite. on the General Discussion board

Have the Switch already. I rarely play it, and I wouldn't get the lite even if I didn't have a Switch because I never play handheld. The thing that bums me out most about the Switch is just that I'd h...

  • NTM posted a message in the forum topic New Last of Us II Trailer + Release Date. on the The Last of Us Part II board

Awesome. The Last of Us is arguably one of my favorite games. I love the world, characters, and story as well as even gameplay (which it seems many people think is the weakest part of the game). I als...

  • NTM posted a message in the forum topic Who is the Best Batman. on the General Discussion board

Christian Bale. It's easy to laugh about his voice, especially when he does the 'where are they!' kind of yell, but I like and approve of his voice direction. It made sense. Others didn't go far enoug...

  • NTM posted a message in the forum topic Why do people care about politics?. on the Off-Topic board

I understand not wanting to get super argumentative and downright ugly about it, but as said already, politics, and by extension, voting has a major effect on livelihoods. I'm 'only' 29, and this is c...

  • NTM posted a message in the forum topic The Community Spotlight 2019.09.21. on the General Discussion board

Not sure that it matters, but that 'favorite fps' thread is two years old. It was bumped. I almost posted on it again a while back before I looked at when it was made. I just checked, and I had alrea...

  • NTM posted a message in the forum topic So is the "white" version of the site gone?. on the General Discussion board

Wow, I hadn't even thought about it. I always use the black background anyways with white text though. The other way hurt my eyes, especially if I was somewhat tired and sitting in a dark room. Using...

  • NTM posted a message in the forum topic Death Stranding - what did you make of the new gameplay footage?. on the Death Stranding board

@humanity: Yeah, I haven't read a whole lot into it, but from what I understand the game is no longer listed as a PS4 exclusive. I have a PS4 Pro so I'm excited to see how it turns out. I don't know h...

  • NTM posted a message in the forum topic Did the recent patch noticeably improve performance on the PS4?. on the Control board

@haneybd87: Try clearing the cache on your system then restarting the console? I didn't run into any major slowdown for the majority of play. There were just a few areas that would chug down into the ...

  • NTM posted a message in the forum topic Did the recent patch noticeably improve performance on the PS4?. on the Control board

@haneybd87: I played it on the X; it was actually mostly fine. There were just moments of slowdown in key areas. It's best played on the X for sure. Digital Foundry hasn't taken a look at the X versio...

  • NTM posted a message in the forum topic Death Stranding - what did you make of the new gameplay footage?. on the Death Stranding board

I'm interested in it for sure. It's kind of what I expected. On one hand, I can understand people being a bit pessimistic about it because it looks to be a lot of walking around or sitting around, but...

  • NTM posted a message in the forum topic Did the recent patch noticeably improve performance on the PS4?. on the Control board

It did, but there are still low frame rates, especially on the base console. Check out Digital Foundry, they put up a video for it.

  • NTM posted a message in the forum topic Control announces two new paid expansions for 2020, New Game (plus?). on the Control board

@doombot13: This is something I think people should find out on there own, but yes Alan Wake definitely is (as a big fan of Alan Wake, it's my favorite part of Control). It's what has my attention mos...

  • NTM posted a message in the forum topic Thoughts on Gears Going More Open?. on the Gears 5 board

Oh, since I'm on here, I'd like to add that I liked that they used at least three songs from the original trilogy. One song from the first, one from the second and one from the third. At times it was ...

  • NTM posted a message in the forum topic Thoughts on Gears Going More Open?. on the Gears 5 board

Finished the game last night. I'll save the spoilers, but pertaining to the open stuff, I didn't like it either actually. It had some beautiful music as you rode, but that's the only real plus. I gues...

I went to PAX; it was my first time despite living only around 30 minutes away. I have to be honest, I thought it was kind of boring. It being packed wasn't that big an issue to me, but there were pr...
