Command & Conquer Expansion Set To Style, Profile

Ric Flair, Malcolm McDowell highlight Red Alert 3 expansion cast.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
You might think that an expansion for Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 would simply contain most of the same characters and actors found in the initial release and be done with it. You would be way wrong on that one. EA has announced the new cast for Red Alert 3: Uprising. These new cats will be joining returning "fan-favorites," Gemma Atkinson and Ivana Milicevic.

It's mostly a bunch of people I haven't heard of, like James Chung (he's going to be in that great-looking Dragonball movie!!!!), Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, and Holly Valance. No idea. But now we come to the payoff.

Malcolm McDowell will appear as Rupert Thornley, the president of the European Union. You may remember that this isn't McDowell's first FMV video game appearance, as he did some great work in the Wing Commander series. The press release EA put out actually notes this, which does my heart good because it means that someone over there still remembers that Wing Commander exists. Also... they should make the Kilrathi a playable race in the Red Alert universe. At this point, why not, right? Cat people can drive tanks too, ya know.

The game will also feature retired pro wrestler Ric Flair as Commander Hill. I feel like I don't even need to describe to you how awesome this is. And to prove that when you get Ric Flair on a project, you get the complete package, here's what he had to say about his inclusion:

When I found out that EA wanted me to be part of Command & Conquer, all I could say was ‘Woooooooooooo!’”

Yep. Woo, indeed.

Uprising will be available as a digital download exclusively for the PC this March at a going price of $19.99.

Oh, also? Here. You're welcome.
