Courtney Love: "ACTIVISION SMUGLY BOASTING OF RAPE"

I don't think she is in any  position to be making any reasonable decisions about Kurts likeness. Either Activision side-stepped her or they took advantage of a junky who wasn't fully aware of what she was agree to. I've never liked Love but its hard not to feel sorry for her.

i agree completely courtney- this terrible, life is not fair im afraid my dearest - i believe the only way for you to escape this insult is ot go play in traffic, or in a fire, or off the edge off a cliff.

I believe she is fighting the good fight, but she's fighting it like a dumbass.

1. Courtney Love was high/drunk the whole time she was working with the development team and only realized what she has done when she sobered up. 
2. She is strapped for cash and is looking for more money and this whole issue will likely get resolved  by the two parties having some sort of "out of court" settlement i.e. Activision gave Courtney Love more money. 
3. She is a complete moron who can't remember shit as a result from years of drug and alcohol abuse and she will end up dying from an OD after confessing to having murdered Kurt Cobain.     

I really would love to know who has the rights to Kurt's likeness. I really can't imagine him wanting himself in a game like this. He did seem to be against such things... he is dead though, and if he left his likeness in the hands of someone who did this then there is nothing that can be done about it. His image doesn't matter anyways, because he's dead ya know.

This is why GH fails so hard, between this, Johnny Cash, how key members of Metallica and Van Halen are kicked to the curb, and the fact there are still 2-3 more "Hero" games coming out this year.  Rock Band might not be all that different a game, but God damn they at least do it with class and respect to the music.

if she had problems wtih cobain in the game, tahts fine, but she needs to realize that nobody can take her seriously because of who she is. oh and twitter.

Creepy as I find Kurt's presence in that game, Courtney Love is far creepier.

Just because she was his wife doesn't mean she has a say in the use of his likeness. And is it any worse seeing other artists like Johnny Cash? I mean, really: why is this so strange? The guy has been dead for fifteen years. I wonder what the deal with Foo Fighters is, though. Does she have some feud with Dave Grohl? Does Grohl have some say, by any chance, in the use of the Nirvana catalog? Or is she just jealous that Foo Fighters has made Grohl far more popular than when he was with Nirvana, and certainly more popular than her? She is, after all, known more as a druggie who flashes herself naked on stage than for being a musician.

She needs to worry more about her basic English skills....

I honestly dont see what the big deal is, its up to the player if they want to have Cobain sing non-nirvana songs,  and Activision obviously got permission to use his likeness. although it is weird to have him in the game, its not disrespectful on Activision's part, they just want to pay homage to a "great artist" and make a few extra bucks.  I think the only people you can be mad at are the people who gave them permission in the first place....and i thought that was coutney love...but i guess i am wrong.
