I used to love Giantbomb, then it took a Gamespot to the knee...

So long as Giant Bomb doesn't turn into Gamespot I'm alright.

Just cancelled my account, kinda sad. But I don't think they need our support anymore, now that they'll receive big fat checks from the man.

I'm not sure I liked how flippant they were about this entire thing on the stream. It seems fake for some reason, I mean this is some big news, couldn't they at least try to act a little serious?

Happy for Tested but there's a reason I go to Giant Bomb and not GameSpot. I really do hope nothing changes, I don't want my dollars going to something hideous as GameSpot.

They were acting like they were given a blank check from Gamespot. So pumped, so hyped. So far they haven't even addressed the possibility that people might have an issue with this flip-flop.

Craziest thing I was expecting to hear, I just thought the office was being painted, but no freaking change of offices and bought by CBS my mind is so blown and then the tested thing! I'm kind of scared right now hope it doesn't become poop, but I believe in these guys I know they won't fuck us over, Jeff knows how to do stuff, it's probably going to become even more crazy insane. Kind of can't wait now :D. Tonight is going to be crazy.

This site will still exist. Just be owned by a different company. I think CBS knows this is a good site and wouldnt want to change much.

premium memberships are not going away, I guess gamespot is expecting us to still give them money, even tho they are not independent, nor they need our support.

Well, he's already on the disc, but you'll have to wait for the mobile site to launch to be able to use him.

So long as the site pretty much stays the same and doesn't end up looking like IGN or something. I like the simple look GB has.

Giant Bomb has been to me, since it started, the example of how it can and should be done successfully without all the crap.
