I don't know. I think that new 360 design is alright when looking at the front. Side is horrible, but who has their 360 standing vertical? I sure don't. Horizontal 4 lyfe yo.
Though it's hard to judge from the pictures, I believe that design would look so much better in my TV-stand than the ugly ass white one I have at the moment. The black/elite looks slightly better, but it still looks like a cheap toy compared to my hi-fi-equipment..

Natal will work with old hardware i'm sure, but will probably require a decent amount of hard drive space for an install of some sort.  I'm glad that i've been holding out on upgrading my 360 after having 3 units RROD and get repaired/replaced.  Now when i finally go for a unit with a 250g HDD i'll get the new slimmer model.

It looks like they cut a 360 in half and then attached a bottom that doesn't quite fit right to it.

Am I the only person who thinks that it looks alright? Or are haters just looking for a reason to hate, not that you need one.

The original 360 design was a little ugly, this is beastly.  Also Kinect is a dumb name.

Hope its not final, I don't like the look at all. If its quieter though, I'd withstand it's fuglyness just for that. I guess anything is better than a near launch 360 though.

I can't see a soccer mom finding that thing appealing at all.  It's just beefy, crooked, and intimidating.  The Wii has no competition now lol.

I don't know how well I will like Kinect experience in games themselves but I do like the idea of the dashboard interface being controller free.  I do a lot of media streaming through the box and being able to access that with just a gesture really has me interested.  Now, if I can control audio/video too, some sort of wave forward or backward or my hand up in a stop gesture that would be great.

The new console looks no different from the current 360, other than it being covered in vents. Finally coming with wi-fi built in though is nice. Also, KINECTIMALS!

I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if a million spell-checkers cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. 
 
Someone needs to contact those marketing people: Wii, funny in a puerile way (penis and piss jokes!), Move was utterly bland. Kinect? I imagine bloggers, editors and journalists will have nightmares writing articles about this.

250GB + WiFi is awesome. Feels far more comparable to a PS3 now and well, it cant be as busted as my current 360....can it?
