LittleBigPatch Hits Europe, Silences Vocals

So, how will LittleBigPlanet look and sound when you're finally able to get your hands on it next week? Thanks to a patch that's now available for European PlayStation 3 owners, we now know what the game will sound like now that it's been... de-Islamified.

Rather than cut the song entirely, the patch replaces the potentially offensive song, Tapha Niang by Toumani Diabate's Symmetric Orchestra, with an instrumental version.

The fly folks over at Eurogamer, with their access to the European game servers and all, have helpfully recorded the first level that plays the song, Swinging Safari, in case you want to look and listen for yourself.
