New Free-To-Play MMO Inspired By The Mummy Films

Universal Partnerships & Licensing has announced the development of a free-to-play MMO based on The Mummy film franchise. Inspired by the globe-trotting antics of the film series, featuring Brendan Frasier as a man in need of a paycheck, The Mummy Online will be a browser-based action RPG where players take the role of adventurers and... fight monsters. Probably take down a mummy at some point.

And the mummy is like a raid boss; You and your 15 friends trek through the mysterious temple. clearing away trash monsters and fodder, until you reach "The Mummy." And then you fight him. If you beat him, he might drop some rare soggy bandages. The rarest kind of soggy bandage. The soggiest.
