Punch-Out!! Two-Player, Giga Mac Revealed

Gametrailers TV revealed an exclusive new, uh, game trailer last night for the upcoming Punch-Out!! for the Wii. The first half of the trailer is mostly recycled stuff from the first Punch-Out!! trailer, though on the back half we get our first look at the game's split-screen two-player mode, as well as Little Mac's transformation into Giga Mac--a hulked-up, caveman-looking version of the pint-size pugilist that will only appear in the game's head-to-head mode. My feelings for the original Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! run deep enough that I can't offer any kind of rational commentary on these new additions, though I will say that the fighter patterns are so intrinsic to the Punch-Out!! experience that I'm a little skeptical about how a two-player game will play.
